Paul G. Maziar has written and designed three chapbooks of poems, one of which, Little Advantages, was handmade and published by Portland's Couch Press in 2013. He has two books forthcoming, a co-edited anthology of baseball poems, and his drawings can be viewed on tumblr (andsotobegin).
Paul Maziar writes about art for various publications such as BOMB, the Los Angeles Review of Books, Oregon ArtsWatch, L.A. Weekly, and RREALISM. A book of his art writings, One Foot in the Other World, is forthcoming from AC Books and his monograph, Roger Kukes: Thirty Years, was published in 2019. TO THE AIR, a booklet of his poems in collaboration with the visual artist Cynthia Lahti, was published by the Cooley Gallery at Reed College.
The first volume of this multidisciplinary filmmakers diaries is a record that bears a unique vision of what its like to be alive, with a young mans earnestness and a fierceness that comes from hard-won experience.
